About Sean

I’m Sean Skinner, the person behind Skinner Studio and Experience to Evidence.

I spent much of my career working in information technology and systems analysis, including senior systems roles.

I later moved into vocational education and began delivering Employability Skills Training (EST), Certificate I in Workplace Skills and IT training.

The part of the work I found most valuable was working directly with job seekers and helping them recognise what they were capable of.

Again and again, I met people who struggled to describe their skills despite having experiences that clearly demonstrated problem solving, communication, resilience, planning, teamwork, initiative and other transferable skills. That included people entering the workforce and people with years of professional experience who had never needed to explain their work in recruitment language.

I began combining structured coaching with conversational AI to explore those experiences more deeply.

Rather than using AI to write a resume for someone, I use it to ask questions, identify possible transferable skills and help turn real experiences into employment evidence.

That approach became Experience to Evidence.
